Using Eclipse for XML Editing

Eclipse is an open-source development platform that can be configured to support a number of different activities, including XML and schema development in a schema-aware environment.

If you've never used an XML-aware editor before, this is a cheap way to try one out - but don't expect a lot of bells and whistles.
